One of the things I've learned over the years is that keeping a well-stocked pantry makes everyday cooking so much easier. I enjoy having ingredients on hand that I know I'll use, especially those that help me prepare homemade meals without making unnecessary trips to the grocery store.
Recently, I picked up another order from Azure Standard, and I thought it would be fun to share what I purchased, how much I paid, and how I use these products in my kitchen.
I also made a little tomato paste using organic tomato powder, one of my favorite convenient pantry ingredients!
What Is Azure Standard?
Azure Standard is a company that offers a variety of groceries, bulk foods, organic products, and household supplies.
One thing that makes Azure Standard different from traditional grocery shopping is its delivery system. You place your order online and select a local drop location. Your order is delivered to that location on a scheduled delivery day, where you pick it up.
I especially enjoy shopping for pantry staples and ingredients I use regularly in my from-scratch cooking.

What I Purchased in My Latest Azure Standard Order
Here's what I purchased and how I plan to use each item.
Organic Black Beans - 5 Pounds ($10.12)
Black beans are a wonderful staple to keep in the pantry. They're versatile, economical, and can be used in so many meals.
I like having dried beans available for soups, chili, Mexican-inspired dishes, and other homemade meals. Buying dried beans also allows me to prepare just what I need.
Azure Clean Dishwasher Gel - 32 oz ($8.04)
Not everything in my Azure Standard orders is food! I also purchased their dishwasher gel.
I appreciate being able to include household products along with my regular pantry purchases.
Organic Pomegranate Juice Powder - 4 oz ($8.95)
This was another item in my order. Powdered ingredients can be convenient to store, especially when you want to prepare smaller quantities.
Organic Tomato Powder - 1 Pound ($14.02)
This is one of the products I was especially excited to share!
I've used tomato powder many times, and I love the convenience of being able to make exactly the amount of tomato sauce or tomato paste that I need.
The only ingredient in this product is organic tomato powder.
Making tomato paste from tomato powder
All I need to do is combine the tomato powder with water, following the directions printed on the package.
For my latest video, I demonstrated how easy it is to make tomato paste.
One of the things I appreciate most is that I don't have to open an entire can of tomato paste when a recipe only calls for a small amount.
An easy homemade pizza sauce idea
Just last week, I used tomato powder to make homemade pizza sauce!
I prepared the tomato paste and added:
- Italian seasoning
- Garlic powder
- Salt
- Black pepper
I simply seasoned it to taste, and it made a delicious pizza sauce.
It's such a convenient ingredient to keep in the pantry!
Organic Chopped Dates - 1 Pound ($7.31)
Chopped dates are another nice ingredient to have available for homemade cooking and baking.
They're especially handy for adding natural sweetness to recipes.
Cut Chives - 4 oz ($7.25)
I enjoy keeping dried herbs on hand, and these chives will be a wonderful addition to my homemade ranch dressing mix.
I shared the ranch dressing mix in a previous video, and I can honestly say it's my favorite ranch dressing!

Red Star Active Dry Yeast - 1 Pound ($7.31)
Since I enjoy baking homemade bread, yeast is an important ingredient in my pantry.
Purchasing a larger package is convenient for someone who bakes regularly, and I like knowing I have yeast available when I'm ready to bake.
Raw Orange Blossom Honey - 3 Pounds ($11.00)
Honey is another versatile ingredient that I enjoy keeping in my kitchen.
It can be used in baking, homemade recipes, and as a sweetener.
A Little Sourdough Update
At the end of my grocery haul video, I also shared my sourdough starter jar and the new dehydrated sourdough starter I'm using.
Here are the products I mentioned:
Sourdough Starter Jar - Amazon
Dehydrated Sourdough Starter - Amazon
I'm looking forward to continuing my sourdough baking adventures!

My Thoughts on Stocking a Practical Pantry
One thing I always like to emphasize is that a well-stocked pantry doesn't mean buying everything in large quantities.
For me, it's about purchasing foods and ingredients that I know my family will use.
Keeping those ingredients available helps me plan meals, cook from scratch, and make better use of what I already have.
Whether you shop at Azure Standard, Aldi, Costco, Sam's Club, or your local grocery store, the same principle applies: Buy what you use, use what you buy, and build your pantry a little at a time.
I'd love to hear from you!
Do you shop at Azure Standard? What are some of your favorite pantry staples? Have you ever tried tomato powder?
