Easy Honey Whole Wheat Bread
Whole Wheat Bread using the bread maker and baked in your oven or bread maker
- 1 ¼ cup water
- 2 tbs oil I use avocado oil
- 1.5 teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup honey
- 3 cups whole wheat flour or 2 cups whole wheat flour and 1 ½ cup all purpose flour for a lighter loaf
- 1 tbs vital wheat gluten optional
- 1.5 teaspoon dry active yeast
1. Layer the ingredients in the bread maker pan in the order listed.2. Select and run the dough cycle on your bread maker.3. Once the dough cycle is complete, transfer the dough to a greased bread pan.4. Place the pan in the oven with the light on and let the dough rise for 45 minutes.5. After 45 minutes, remove the bread pan from the oven and preheat the oven to 350°F.6. Once the oven reaches temperature, place the bread in the oven and bake for 35 minutes.7. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then enjoy!
